"My visit soon changed to daycare, for Arwyn and her two-month-older cousin, Sidney. I stayed a year, watching them wiggle and squirm, scoot around until they crawled. They had their first falls and banged heads, squealed with laughter and took their first steps. So precious, those firsts. I thank God I shared them with these two darling, precious babies."
Robin writes romantic suspense, sometimes turning up the heat to red hot for a blast of erotic fun. She also writes mystery suspense and futuristic/paranormal suspense.
Research is vital to Robin's work, especially with the Red Hot series. She has interviewed people around the country from coast to coast and points north, using their stories as well as personal experience as inspiration. She's always looking for another interesting story, so if you have one, see Talk to Me.
Travel is also an essential part of her life, combining research, promotion, and visiting family when possible. Eventually she wants to travel overseas, and with family in New Zealand, contacts in Africa, and her love of Italy, she may soon bounce around the world as joyfully as she does the states.
If you'd like to see if Robin will be in your area, or would like to request she visit your area if possible, see Signings & Events.
So here's the deal. Tell me a story. I'm looking for interesting life stories, the unique, the funny, the poignant. Primarily about personal experiences inspired by the Red Hat Society, or about life as a RVer, but any good story will be appreciated. Of course, I must be able to use my creative version of any material sent to me. I will, promise promise promise, never divulge any situation or description that infringes on anyone's privacy, including participants other than the storyteller. How? By lifting parts of your story and placing them into a different context. Remember, lifeis a story; I'm looking for inspiration from the best storytellers around. Real people.
Have something in mind? Or maybe several somethings? Send them to me at robin@robin-merrill.com. I'd love to hear from you.
I also may be able to come to your area for group interviews, such as RHS chapters, RV clubs, and writers groups . I combine my research with book signings when possible, so let me know if you're interested. I have a lot of interesting stories to tell, myself, and I do love to share.
